
Harvey's profession began when he was comedian. Harvey began his professional career performing as a comedian during the early 1980s. He was host of Showtime at the Apollo, as well as The Steve Harvey Show on The WB. In the wake of his appearance on Kings of Comedy Tour's The Original The Kings of Comedy he was a guest in The Original Kings of Comedy. In 2012 He hosted his final stand-up comedy program. Harvey is host of Family Feud as well Celebrity Family Feud. He's been in the position since 2010. Harvey also hosted Little Big Shots and Little Big Shots Forever Young. Harvey is also the host for Harvey's Funderdome. In his capacity as an author, Harvey has written four books, including his bestseller Act Like a Lady, Consider Like a Man, which was released in March of 2009. Harvey started Steve Harvey Global, an entertainment business that runs the production firm East 112 along with different ventures. Harvey founded Family Feud in Africa and was a shareholder in Anthem Sports and Entertainment in the HDNet acquisition. Marjorie Harvey and Steve Harvey were the founders of the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation. The foundation is a nonprofit organisation that focuses on youth education. Harvey has received seven Daytime Emmy Awards, two Marconi Award winners, and fourteen NAACP Image Award Winners in different categories.
